Cancelation Policy

Cancellation Policy

At FoodKal, we aim to provide a smooth and reliable ordering experience for our customers while ensuring fair practices for customers, vendors, and delivery partners.

This Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which orders placed through the FoodKal platform may be cancelled by customers, vendors, or FoodKal.

By placing an order through FoodKal, you agree to the terms described in this Cancellation Policy.

Customer Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order through the FoodKal application, subject to the order status and applicable conditions.

An order cancellation request may be accepted when:

  • The vendor has not yet accepted or started processing the order.

  • The preparation or packing process has not started.

  • The order has not been assigned for delivery.

Once a vendor has started preparing the order or the order has been handed over to a delivery partner, cancellation may not be possible.

Cancellation After Vendor Acceptance

Once an order is accepted by a vendor, the vendor may begin preparing or collecting the requested items.

After this stage:

  • Cancellation requests may be restricted.

  • Refund eligibility will depend on the situation.

  • FoodKal may review the request before approving any refund.

This is to ensure fair treatment for vendors who have already started processing customer orders.

Vendor-Initiated Cancellation

A vendor may cancel an order in certain situations, including:

  • Product unavailability

  • Operational issues

  • Store closure or unexpected circumstances

  • Inability to fulfill the order requirements

If a vendor cancels an order, FoodKal may notify the customer and process a refund according to the applicable payment method and refund policy.

Delivery Partner Related Cancellation

An order may be cancelled due to delivery-related issues, including:

  • Delivery partner availability issues

  • Customer location problems

  • Incorrect delivery information

  • Customer unavailability after reasonable contact attempts

FoodKal will review such cases and determine the appropriate resolution.

Incorrect Customer Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including:

  • Delivery address

  • Contact number

  • Order details

FoodKal and its delivery partners are not responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect information provided by customers.

Refund After Cancellation

If a cancellation is approved and the customer is eligible for a refund:

  • Refunds will be processed according to FoodKal's Refund Policy.

  • Refund processing time may vary depending on the payment method and payment service provider.

  • Promotional discounts, coupons, or offers may have separate cancellation conditions.

Non-Cancellable Orders

Certain orders may not be eligible for cancellation, including:

  • Orders that have already been prepared or packed.

  • Orders that are already out for delivery.

  • Orders where cancellation may result in loss or wastage of products.

  • Orders cancelled due to customer-related issues after preparation has started.

Cancellation of Account or Services

Users may request account cancellation or deletion by contacting FoodKal support.

Account closure requests may require verification to protect user security.

FoodKal's Rights

FoodKal reserves the right to cancel orders or restrict cancellation requests in situations including:

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Misuse of promotional offers

  • Incorrect information

  • Violation of platform terms and conditions

  • Technical or operational issues affecting order fulfillment
